Dance Science Denmark

Welcome to Dance Science Denmark!

Dance Science Denmark (DSDK) is an association established in 2017, dedicated to improve knowledge and understanding of dance injuries, injury prevention and dance teaching. We are an association for everyone who is interested in the scientifical medical approach to working with all types of dance and movement. A network where dancers, teachers, trainers and health practitioners can ask questions and exchange knowledge or find information on upcoming courses, seminars and workshops within the field.

Each year, DSDK hosts an annual symposium, and smaller member meeting during the season, presenting speakers with various backgrounds and approaches to dance, movement and injury prevention, inviting members to reflect, both in a theorethical and practical context.
